Etihad Airways A340-5 First Class Abu Dhabi to New York

The opulence of Middle Eastern airlines is simply absurd. I've yet to fly one, but hopefully I'll get on one soon. This report is from "One Mile At a Time" on boarding area and it features Etihad Airways's A340-500 First Class product. It's a long flight at 15 hours, but it's probably not bad with a first class suite like this. The whole cabin is designed to feel spacious. The suites are huge, and as with many international suites, there are no overhead bins meaning a very high ceiling. See for yourself!

Here's an excerpt:
Within a minute of settling in I was welcomed aboard by “my” flight attendant, Adrian, a French-Italian guy in his mid-20s who was also the food and beverage manager. I guess the benefit of having only two passengers is that you get a 1:1 crew to passenger ratio in the cabin — that’s pretty tough to beat!

And of course, a photo:
Wow that looks good!
