"While I generally don’t eat dinner at 2am PST (5am NY Time), as a full-time blogger it’s my duty to try out all aspects of a flight. I had eaten a steak on JFK-LAX, but that was 6 hours earlier, so I actually was starting to get moderately hungry. Since I was flying to Japan, I decided to go with the Japanese meal choice, which was a Japanese Chicken Skewer with scallop, boiled shrimp, seasonal greens and fishcake, with an entree of Salmon Misoyaki with steamed rice, pickles and miso soup."

Virgin Australia A330 Business Class

Today we've got our first Virgin flight on the site. This one's a quick hop from Perth to Sydney in business class on their A330 (old configuration). As usual, to get to the report just click the link.

"I kid you not when I say it was the most tender, delicious beef dish I’ve ever had onboard an airplane. It literally melted in my mouth and my only complaint is that there wasn’t enough of it. I could easily have had seconds or even thirds. The cheese selection was identical to the outbound flight and I skipped over it in anticipation of the cherry and apple crumble dessert with vanilla custard. It was sublime and served at the perfect, hot temperature"

Lufthansa 747-8 First Class Trip Report

"The very polished Lufthansa flight attendant approached me immediately and offered Laurent-Perrier Champagne and warm nuts which I happily accepted. In addition I was handed a Bogner amenity kit complete with van Laack pajamas. I could get used to this….."
